2009 29er North East Grand Prix
After 5 great events the 2009 East Coast Grand Prix wrapped up at the CORK OCR / 29er North Americans. Congratulations to Max Fraser and David Liebenberg for dominating the circuit with a 45 point lead over the next team, Tyler Macdonald and Brian Bolton. This year's winners will receive a Stainless Steel Clear Start Regatta Watch by Ronstan for both the skipper and crew. Watches are donated by PS2000 Inc.

Scoring and Rules:
  • 1. Teams are scored together
  • 2. A team's top 4 events are scored for your grand total
  • 3. Only class members in good standing earn points. (Both skipper and crew must be either US or Canadian members before the start of an event.)
  • 4. Points are awarded based on regatta standing and fleet size factor. Grand Prix Points = finishing position points x fleet size factor.
    Finishing position points are awarded on a scale such that 1st gets 20 points, 2nd gets 19 points, on down to 2 points ane everyone else is awarded 2 points.
